Supermag
Supermag is made up of plastic bars with magnets at either end, and nickel-plated steel spheres, which serve as connectors. Knowing the secret of the bars' polarity and how to connect them in the proper way to insure the strongest connections is the secret to building complex structures (don't worry--full instructions are included!)

Supermag comes in single-color sets, so you can mix and match and color-coordinate your models.

For fans of Geomag: Supermag comes from the former makers of Geomag. Supermag rods are tapered at the ends, so that 24 rods can fit on a single ball (compared to 14 for Geomag). Also, Supermag rods come in two different lengths. The bigger of the two is the same length as Geomag rods, so you can use Geomag and Supermag together. Because it contains small parts, Supermag is not recommended for children under 5.
